Anonymous Call Rejection (ACR) is a service that rejects incoming calls from anonymous callers. Anonymous Call Rejection will automatically stop all incoming calls from callers who have their numbers blocked. This feature is already installed on your phone. If you would like to turn this feature off dial *87, and dial *77 to turn it back on. Some cellular phones that do not send caller id will be blocked while this feature is on.

This feature enables anyone from making calls to 900 or 976 numbers from your phone. This feature is automatically installed on your line when you are connected.

Operator information 411 or 1411 for long distance, is available to you at the low cost of 95 cents per call. This feature is already installed on your line.

This feature allows you to block unwanted solicitation calls that you may be receiving. You are allowed to block up to 6 numbers, in your map area, from calling your telephone number, give the feature a few minutes to take effect. To use this feature, Dial *60 after the party has called and follow the prompts to block calls from these number.

"I see some of the same numbers on my caller ID 3-5 times a day calling with
solicitations, even though I have answered it and asked them not to call.
I write the number down and program a selective block for that number from

Allows you to specify up to 10 numbers to automatically forward to any other telephone number such as your cellular or office phone. Dial *63 and follow prompts to activate this feature. To de-activate this feature dial *83 and follow the instructions. If you are an SCTelcom DSL user use *63 to activate and de-activate this feature.

This feature lets you know the name and number of the 2nd calling party trying to reach you while you already have a telephone call in progress. Caller ID Call Waiting will display the name and number of the caller up to 15 characters. To use this feature you must have a caller id box or a phone with the display feature.

This feature will alert you if someone is trying to call you while you are already on the line. Call waiting alerts you with a beep tone that is telling you another call is waiting. To answer the second call, simply press the switchhook or flash button on your phone (you can alternate between calls by doing this as well). If you do not want to be interrupted dial *70 before each call to deactivate the call waiting feature.

This feature allows you to add a third party to a conversation without hanging up. To use this feature press your switchhook or the "flash" button on your phone and dial a second call. When you are ready press the switchhook or the "flash" button again to create a 3-way conference call.

This is a customer-programmed feature that allows you to select up to 10 telephone numbers from calling your telephone number. The calling party will receive a recording to indicate that their call is being "rejected". To use this feature, dial *67. To de-activate this feature, dial *67.

This feature offers up to 2 distinctive rings which will allow you to have multiple phone numbers coming into the same telephone. The calls will be identified by a specified ring. If you checked this feature during your order then you already have the numbers installed. If not, you can have them added for a one-time charge of $6.00.

B Disaster Recovery Service |
This feature allows you to activate, deactivate or change the 'forward to' number from any location at any time. Including when storms or accidents interrupt the telephone company central office and your location. You will need to enter your 4-digit personal identification number, which is the last 4 digits of your main telephone number. Dial your home telephone number then 72# to activate call forwarding. Dial the number you would like your calls forwarded to then wait for someone to answer. To de-activate this number dial 73# and wait for 2 beeps.

Optional automatic 011 international blocking |
This option allows you to block international calls from any lines that do not require the ability to make '011' calls. This feature is only available if SCTelcom Long Distance Service is selected. This feature does not block International 1+ calls to Canada , as the ADT 1+ direct dial rate to Canada is only 6.9 cents per minute. It does block International calls to Mexico . This feature is not available is you select a
DSL product.

Call Forward Busy / Don't Answer |

This feature allows you to automatically return a call to the last person you talked to or if you just missed them (they hung up right as you answered), as long as you and the recipient are located in the local calling map. To use this feature pick up the hand set and dial *69. If the line is busy the system will monitor the line for 30 minutes and lets you know with a special ring when the busy number is free. When you pick up the receiver, the call is placed automatically. To de-activate this feature at any time, dial *66.

This feature allows you to automatically forward incoming calls to another specified number when your line is busy. To activate this feature dial *68. When you want to de-activate this feature, dial *88. If you choose to have voice mail added to your service this feature will be negated.

Call forwarding don't answer |
This feature allows you to have calls transferred to a different number if you don't answer after a pre-designated number of rings (3-8). To use this feature dial *92 and specify the number of rings, the feature is active when someone answers at the transfer number. To deactivate this feature, dial *93. If you choose to have voice mail added to your service this feature will be negated.

Call Trace |
This feature enables you to request a record of the last incoming call to be generated and provided to SCTelcom. This may happen when the subscriber wishes to report an obscene, harassing, or threatening call. The record includes calling party number, date/time of call, and date/time of trace. No subscription needed. To activate press *57.

| Hot Line |
This feature enables a subscriber to complete a call to a predefined destination, when the phone is picked up, a call is placed to a designated phone number automatically without waiting for a dial tone.

| Programmable Toll Restriction |
This feature restricts the subscriber from making long distance calls, but can be disabled by pressing *13, followed by a Personal Identification Number (PIN), followed by a destination number. The subscriber receives a busy tone if attempting to originate a call to a restricted destination without first dialing the access code and PIN. Incoming calls are not affected. Visit our website for instructions on how to change your PIN number.

| Toll Restriction |
This feature prohibits the subscriber from originating long distance calls. Attempted long distance calls are directed to an announcement. Incoming calls are not affected. Local calls and
911 calls are allowed. You can chose between having 800 restriction or not.

| Warm Line |
The feature is similar to hot line, with the exception that the subscriber receives a dial tone and is allowed to place on outgoing call. If no digits are dialed after a designated number of seconds, a call is placed to a chosen phone number. The chosen number of seconds is administered on a per subscriber basis and can be set between 2 and 30 seconds.

Allows you to specify up to 6 numbers to automatically refuse incoming calls from. Dial *64 and follow prompts to activate this feature. To de-activate this feature dial *64 and follow the instructions.
